Here's how it all went down on Halloween:
First, I had to get up at OHMYGODEARLY A.M. to take Stefan over to his Dad's house for the ride to school. On the way home, I stopped at McDonald's for an Egg McMuffin and a Dr Pepper (sugar/caffeine).
At work, I had a Coke (sugar/caffeine).
For lunch, we went to Chili's, where I ordered a cheesesteak sandwich and a side salad. Normally, it comes with fries. I didn't want fries. So, it costs $1 extra not to fill my arteries with globs of grease. I figure it's a dollar well spent. However, they brought me a salad AND fries, as if to tell me that they wanted my money but still thought I should have a heart attack sooner rather than later.
I didn't eat any of the fries. I'm really proud of myself.
I didn't drink anything but water during lunch. I'd been dealing with a migraine all morning. Marie suggested water, water, and more water.
Back at work, I had a Diet Mountain Dew (caffeine) before the company Halloween party/costume contest. I did a lot of sweating for this, so I think I earned the small cup of blood orange gelato I ate during the party.
For dinner, I took Karen to Longhorn Steakhouse. We ordered boneless Buffalo wings for an appetizer. I had a ribeye steak, sweet potato, a side salad with dressing, and unsweetened iced tea (caffeine).
No dessert.
