Sort of. I announced today that both OtherSpace: The Farthest Star and OtherSpace: Millennium will shut down at the end of the year.
I'm replacing them both with a new OtherSpace set in the realm of Hiverspace circa 2650. Reaction has been mixed so far, as I expected. Some people are sad to see the old universes go, but they seem excited by the prospect of playing new alien races and exploring the new realm.
It's been a good run of more than ten years, but it is now time to really shake things up if I plan to stay involved and keep active in the games.
In 2009, we'll be down to one OtherSpace game and Necromundus. Much easier to manage.
