...She didn't send it via FedEx. The envelope came via USPS and has been sitting in my P.O. box for five days. (I only get down to the office once or twice a week to check my mail there.)
Anyway, I've got it now. She helpfully tabbed the areas I need to sign. A few of the pages require a notary, so that's fun right there. But all she's asking for is her name back, and I think that's fair enough.

Well, I feel your pain. Nov. 4, 2008 was my actual 8th wedding anniversary, and I got a nice little, "Happy Last Anniversary. I thought roses would be inappropriate. I'm going to the lawyers in the afternoon and you'll be getting the papers in the week."
I was celebrating right along with the nation. We get a new president-and I get my freedom-on my "wedding anniversary!"
--well, here we are--and no papers today. So I made the dreaded call.
The last time we communicated he said it would all be done and final on 1/1/09. That got me wondering...wedding date? I know there is another person here in the picture. I'm not completely stupid-she's been there for 3 years-but at work.
So, today I said, 'what's the Jan.1rush? A few months ago you didn't even want to do this-and now it's hurry up and sign?'
His response: "I want you off of my taxes. I don't want you to have anything to do with my income."
Warm and fuzzy he is, eh? Yep. That assured me there he's the same as always-and it illustrated who I lived with for 8 years.
