I felt so much better about the President recalling those fighter jets when it was apparent in this episode that the writers were doing away with the deus ex machina in favor of letting Tony play hero.

Jonas got his comeuppance! But...Tony, what the hell?! SERIOUSLY? Apparently, seriously. Sorry, Larry. I grew to like you. You'll be missed.

Meanwhile, a brief interlude with Kim Bauer. It occurs to me that if she were my only hope for surviving exposure to a deadly toxin, I'd turn her down too. I'm certain even her stem cells are bleached beyond sensibility.
