So, about that novel...

The goal was to write one chapter a week. In the past five days, I've written the first four chapters. It helps that I'm having fun. I've been playing a bit with the storytelling format, but mostly I just have a good time writing the character of Len Dixon.

Alas, NaNoWriMo...

I got off to a promising start that quickly got derailed by real-life, developments on my games, work, and the arrival of the Lich King expansion.

Maybe next year.

The month-long quest to write 50,000 words of a novel has begun!

I've already completed 700 words today. My goal is to hit at least 2,000 words a day between now and the end of November.

National Novel Writing month is coming...

...and I've officially re-upped my membership so that I can participate.

In the month of November, I'll write 50,000 words. The project I'm working on won't be based on any of the current Jointhesaga.com games - it'll be fiction set in the real world of the late 20th Century.

You should give it a try too! Everyone should try writing a novel at least once. I pulled this off back in 2004 and it resulted in Red-Eye Flight.
